General:
Perennial from short taproot and a woody stem-base; stems decumbent to erect, 4-20 (25) cm tall.
Leaves:
Basal leaves in a rosette, egg-shaped to oblanceolate, stalked, entire, (1) 2-6 (15) cm long; stem leaves much reduced, 0.5-1.5 (3) cm long, unstalked or short-stalked, hairy, the hairs starlike.
Flowers:
Inflorescences loose; flower stalks ascending to erect, 5-20 (40) mm long; petals yellow, 5-6 (7) mm long; sepals 3-4.5 mm long, hairy, the hairs starlike.
Fruits:
Silicles, subglobose to ellipsoid, 5-8 mm long, 4-5.5 (7) mm wide, glabrous or hairy, the hairs starlike; beaks 1-2.5 mm long.
